The Graduate Affairs Foundation of Malaysia (GAF) is a progressive organization committed to empowering young graduates and harnessing their potential to contribute meaningfully to Malaysia’s public agenda. Established with the vision of fostering a socially conscious and engaged graduate community, GAF acts as a vital link between academia, industry, and society. Its mission is to equip young graduates with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to address societal challenges and drive national development. By focusing on areas such as education, community development, environmental sustainability, and public policy, GAF ensures that young graduates are not only employable but also socially responsible and impactful.
GAF’s initiatives are designed to cultivate leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among young graduates. Its flagship programs include leadership training, community engagement projects, and policy advocacy platforms. These initiatives encourage young graduates to participate in public discourse, volunteerism, and nation-building activities, aligning their expertise with the nation’s needs.
"Recognizing the interconnected future of Asia, GAF is expanding its impact through Regional Collaboration, forming networks of graduates across the continent to share knowledge, innovate solutions, and drive collective action. By fostering partnerships with academic institutions, youth organizations, and industry leaders in Asia, GAF empowers graduates to collaborate on cross-border challenges such as green technology, equitable growth, and digital resilience. This initiative aims to strengthen Asia’s economic sustainability and resilience, positioning young graduates as catalysts for regional solidarity and shared prosperity. Together, GAF and its partners are building a dynamic, collaborative ecosystem where graduates lead Asia toward a more inclusive and sustainable future."
Through partnerships with government agencies, private sector organizations, and civil society groups, GAF creates opportunities for young graduates to contribute to critical public agendas, such as poverty alleviation, climate action, digital transformation amd regional collaboration.
Central to GAF’s philosophy is the belief that young graduates are pivotal to societal progress. By mobilizing their talents and energies, GAF aims to build a more inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous Malaysia. The foundation’s unwavering commitment to graduate empowerment and public engagement ensures that young graduates become not only successful professionals but also active contributors to the nation’s growth and well-being. Through its efforts, GAF continues to inspire and shape the leaders of tomorrow, fostering a culture of active citizenship and leadership among Malaysia’s youth.
